Using the model created in the pattern making workshop, the moulding workshop produces furanic sand pattern cavities in which the molten metal will be cast.

 

FERRY CAPITAIN has 2 moulding sites: cast iron moulding and steel moulding.

 

These sites are equipped with large capacity mixers (60 T/hour) that are used to make frame moulds (6 m²) or pit moulds (11 m * 8 m * 3 m).
